hey another question - by the way last time i couldnt get the supra to start it was simply flooded - no fuses or faulty pumps thank god just poped the plugs out and gave them a clean and she started perfect! friend of mine who drives a supra told me that they are very prone to flooding! anyway - i have a T56 booostlogic turbo fitted and SM4 ecu car is mapped at 448bhp at .7 bar boost, if the boost is upped more aparently its wont run properly - lack of volts im told - i have a bosch ignition of some discription fitten, but have been told will need to put an Autronics CDI pack in?? does this sound normal to anyone? next question is do i need to spend £500 on an autronics one or will a HKS one be fine?? and are there different types i should be looking at or for or is it pretty simple?? as far as i know if i get one fitted we can up the boost and get more of what i want!! thanks again for any help!!

Modern cars dont 'flood' mate, thats reserved to carb fuelled cars. If theres excessive fuel in the engine you might have a leaky injector(s) leaking fuel into the cylinders.

As for upping the boost, if its not mapped or doesnt have large enough injectors then it will break. Also with out correct specs of your ignition system I doubt anyone can help.

Who built your car for you? They should have all the answers.

lol ok maybe flooded was the wrong term but the truning over of the engine on a dud battery caused fuel or what ever to blacken the sparks all i needed to do was clean them! a few people said they had similar problems as i had last time i put a post up so id say they maybe had same problem as me! it has been mapped and has new 1000cc injectors but as far as i know(which isnt much!) they couldnt get the boost above .7bar as the sparks were not getting enough volts so need to fit a CDI pack - just wondered if anyone has any info or advice before i spend lots more £!!!
