ivan
That's bad. With the "sue their a$$ off" culture over there I don't doubt for a minute he'll get his compensation though.

Chris Wilson
Well, as a proper carbon / carbon clutch costs about £4.5K for even an F3 200 BHP, 210 ft. lbs. of torque one, what do people expect? Looks more like the flywheel exploded to me, are they aluminium flywheels with a screwed on facing ? A proper carbon clutch uses one piece carbon plates and floaters on an EN40B flywheel or better. Proper flywheels are decent quality billet or forged steel, alloy ones terrify me. ALL drag race cars should use a ballistic blanket on the bellhousing, but only a few bother. Gaz Walker
That is a real shame to see. I've never used the triple before but we've used the twin for 4years and never had a problem. Pixelfill
It turns out the OP is allegedly a con artist, Loctite applied and end of show.

Like us Very wise, if you don't mind me saying so. Only ever seen one exploded flywheel, and the energy dissipated was awesome. Once it's grenaded the bellhousing A .9 mm transmission tunnel isn't going to do much more energy absorption before it's in the passenger compartment.
