fruity_south
hi, recently the supra has been like grinding when turning corners and on some brakeing, (is not happening all the time, it has toms colovers on it and when it was last jacked up i noticed that the plastic cover over the dampener was falling apart and the the rubber around the rod (technical term) was falling apart and that the one that sndwiches between the suspension and the arch was cracking. could this be the cause or any other suggestions, there are no marked signs of tyre rubbing on the arches so this is my only other guess. the brake pads are a little worn but dont think they need doing just yet and am hopefully getting my uk spec by the end of the weeks. any help would e much appriciated

mark uk manual
Sounds like brake pads. Have you looked at the inner pad? or score marks on the disc either side? Take it your not going for the v8 conversion now then what uk is it?

fruity_south
ill hopefully find out if it is the brakes when there changed, if its not that is there a possibility its the suspension rubber bits. or do i need to be looking else where
mark uk manual
the rubber part i think your talking about is just the dust cover. which won't cause a grinding noise. nothing really to worry about.
