SimonT
This is aimed at all you guys and gals that put their Supra's away for the Winter etc. Im just wondering if you put them in the garage and disconnect the battery or just stick them under a car cover and leave them or something to that effect as im probably picking up an old bangor to drive to work over the Winter tomorrow and just wondered if there is anything you guys do to your cars before you stop driving them as i probably wont drive it again until next year unless there is the odd clear sunny day over the Winter!!! Any input would be appreciated!!
couv3z
put it away why? winter is the best time to drive them if you gonna garage it, you many aswell get a trick kit for Halfunds and keep the battery charged
SimonT
Yeah i know Winter is the best time!! But if i took my Sup out in the snow and spanked it into a kerb id be pi**ed so id much rather keep it at home!! Although a slow trickle charger sounds like a plan!! SupraD06
if you have access to a garage then use it, i used a car cover last year and made sure i hovered out the cover, and washed and waxed the car so that there was no dust or grit under the cover, and when i took it off in march the wind had made the cover rub the paint on the edges of my bumper, roof, spoiler, and bonnet. Needed machine polishing to remove so wont be doing that again

SupraD06
im not saying there not a good cover, but i just like to let people know both sides before they waste money and end up with more trouble than they expected.
AlanM
Don't leave a lot of fuel in it, it will be off by the end of the winter if you do
beagle
when you put a cover on car for that time you should put lots of wax on and DONT rub it off leave it all dull it stops the cover from doing that . Did that with my calibra no probs had cover came from argos.
