Parking sensors without cutting holes into the bumper

Has anyone seen these before?

Parking sensors for the front or back but using a metalic tape rather than ultrasonic sensor.

 

if they are any good then I think it would be much better because

1 no cutting holes in the bumper

and 2 no worrying about cutting holes in the bumper lol

 

looks interesting, just thought I would see if anyones used one or has any experience of them

I fitted the same thing on one of my Dads cars.

 

They only beep when moving and can be set off by heavy rain.

 

Not very good when it comes to posts (like ballards) as the first warning you get is the stop warning.

 

Apart from that, would use them again, due to the no drilling.

 

Although they were cheaper than that last year (although I guess everything was), maybe have a hunt around, and God knows why they're talking about CAN-BUS systems, as it just wires into the reversing light.
