Duffman
I'm getting a full stainless system fitted next week and it'll be fully de-catted...in preparation for going BPU hopefully [GRIN][/GRIN]...do I need a restrictor ring fitted at this point or is it only when I fit the FCD and uprated fuel pump? I know the purpose of a RR...but don't know at what stage it should be fitted I want a 1.2 RR to save fannying about with boost controllers etc...how do I know if its 1.2 (guy whos fitting my exhaust has one lying about)...is the hole a certain diameter? Cheers

Cheers Because both of your cat's have gone, there is nothing protecting your Turbo's so you will find that they will overspin causing terminal damamge to your Turbo's. You will need a 1.2 bar restrictor ring to stop this effect... It also would be good to fit an FCD too... You will only know if your Turbo's are hitting 1.2 bar if you have a boost gauge...
