Hi mate i need help about headlight light lense.

Me and Jay was doing taking headlight out yesterday and we were trying to put in my oven but i though my oven is electric but is not lol. So i gotto find somebody who got one :(

One of member told me why not try use haid dryer and i was though about it but im sure it won't work cos i think not much power of heating. have anyone use hair dryer before?

So i already bought the paint and something like that for use headlight. Jay done his refurb headlight before and he done spray black inside but he need more work to fit properbly because he headlight doe'st look bad but the water go in headlight (leak) which mean is no good.:(

I asked Jay have you ever done my new lens before?, so he said is quite hard and he never done it before.

I bought the lens from group buy (suprattgaz). I look at his guide seem look easy to me but im sure is hard job to fit probabley.

have a look his thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=131308&highlight=clear+lenses

Could you tell me what is silicone?

also when i take my lens out how do cut my old lens before i put new one?

Have anyone done new lens from suprattgaz? :search:

hair dryer should work, just might take a bit of time. I use a heatgun, as there easier and hotter - also you can control the temperature. Good one are not cheap. I've taken my lights appart several time now, got it down to a fine art.

Silicone is what used to seal the lense on, but not the best stuff as its not a 100% seal (from past experiance!)

Well, according to the instruction, you need to drill holes to secure the lense to the case.

anyone have't fitted new lense from supattgaz?:(

Yup... I was going to do it myself but decided it was too much like hard work. So I gave them to my bodyshop guy and he sorted it. Took him about 2 hours per light and didn't look very easy. You'll probably need a dremel tool etc to trim the edges.

Here they are fitted.
