bennyc45
Recently bought a tt-manual 94' L reg. Doing a major service and cambelt for piece of mind and have seen performance cambelts availble. If im running the car up to 380/400bhp, is the standard cambelt sufficient? Envyperformance retail a blue performance cambelt and they reccommend it (obviously). Any help appreciated Thank you
paul mac
if you mean a blue one you can pay about 60 qid more but all you get is a blue one, stock belt is good enough for anything you want to throw at it
bennyc45
Brilliant. Thank you very much for your help. My mechanic advised me the same but i wanted confirmation. Cheers
Gaz Walker
I recommend on big power cars for sure, but a stock belt is fine on BPU, unless you have a show engine bay and want something to show off
