bodilx6
I have a "clonking" noise from my back wheel arches. Mostly the right one. Sounds like metal against metal, just hitting. Its definately when the suspension is moving and I can be both at speed but also while slowly passing a driveway or so. 90% of the times its from the right side but the left side also give a clonk now and then and that is a completly new damper. (yes, I have changed only one of the two, but they were only a year old when the left one threw all oil) The main thing is that it is ONLY when its raining. Any ideas? ivan
I hads the same with a previous car. Turned out to be the exhaust knocking as the rain was making it colder.
bodilx6
Oooo... Interesting thought. But mine is definatly in the right back and no exhaust there. But it must be due to some shrincking due to the cold water.
