RAC car age limit?

Does anyone know if the RAC breakdown cover has a age limit on the cars they will cover?

I know from reading the small print the green flag is 16 years but can't seem to find one for RAC :-0

I'd rather go with the RAC as because if you go with solution 3 or 4 and do it via quid co then they will give £40 back which means its not too bad really.

what with doing more miles now im thinking that if I do break down then the cost of one tow truck home or something means the cover would have paid for its self (although touch wood I dont break down lol)

"Please remember

This level of cover may only be taken where the vehicle to be covered

is less than 16 years of age."

I know they seem to do fair usage on call outs and discounts if you dont call but sees RAC through quid co is the best and just forget about the 10% discount if you dont call them out lol

just dont want to call them out some time and they look and say "sorry mate its 1 year too old" or some other such **** lol

and the AA

"where only Roadside Assistance is held, the vehicle must be no more than 10 (ten) years old at the date of registration with the AA"

Were with the RAC and covered for all the cars including my 1973 Bug.

I'm covered with one of them through my bank, i hope it's not the AA!

For UK Breakdown cover, there is no age limit on the vehicles we cover.

i brought this up with the AA at renewal time too, My policy covers the person who took oiut the poilcy unless you are specifically covering your car. It should not matter what age your car is.
