Hi All,

About a year ago, i brought my first supe, a AeroTop TT i storm blue. I brought the car with the intention to respray it as the paint was really bad. Almost a year on, i finally got round to spraying it.

I decided to go for BMW Cosmos Black! I also did the headlights and had the active spoiler body coloured. (Pics below)

So, Heres what it looked like before: -

And then the work began, The car was in primer ready for painting after all the little dents were fixed: -

And then what the car looked like just after it had spent what seemed like ages in the oven.

And finally once it was put back together and how it stands right now!

Thanks for all your comments guys! Still have a few more things planned for it. I dont want to go mad with a bodykit, would rather keep it subtle. Next on the agenda is to refurb the alloys!

Anyone know any good polishers :p

I like that:cool: thinking of doing the same colour with mine.

Its funny you should say that Jamie, I want to fit a FMIC like yours to the front of mine!:innocent:

I think yours would look amazing with the active spoiler sprayed up!

Thanks for your comment! Glad you like it, I'm over the moon with the result!

The boys at GSK bodyworks in Bedfordshire done an amazing job! There was an orange RX7 in there getting work done to the front bumper. The owner had GSK fit a full bodykit and spray it orange a few years back. Will try to find some pics later.

Looks nice, looks like they did a good job!

I bet you scrape ya splitter if you leave it down though ;)

LOL! Hence why I choice not to mess with it and left it stock.

It goes up when you start the car up and then comes back out when you go over 60 MPH.

No Jamie no purple in it mate. I think its just the way the lighting is in the pictures.

To be honest, its not too far from you colour.

Sounds like the komos may be the one i want then.

Is it the carbon black that has a tinge of blue/purple in it then?

Yeah thats it! Carbon black has purple in it. I went to BMW to have a look at colours when I was trying to choose, Kosmos Black was the best colour closely followed by BMW Sapphire Black.
