I said ask yourself not me :D

Because I've used them for years and they've never pissed me off - if they fix something it stays fixed. If they find something they contact you and offer solutions and their costs. If they service something it's done properly. They are friendly and courteous. If you want special conditions, such as I supply my own oil and spark plugs, they accomodate that without batting an eyelid. Modifed, imported, non-Ford, no problems at all. And no idiot kids working there take it out for a razz - I make sure every time.

They just did a B-level service for me, I supplied my own oil and sparks, they gave me back the old sparks because I asked them to (after the service in fact so someone rummaged around in the shitcan to find them for me), and I got them to tighten the subframe bolts. I gave them a printout of the bolts and torque figures off MkIV.com and they just got on and did it, included it as part of the service cost, *and* even gave me back the printouts (with the odd oily fingerprint on them). £139 all in (not including oil and plugs cost of course)

Not the cheapest, but not what I'd call expensive.

PS I know they did the bolts properly too, because a clonk I had when reversing at full lock has gone completely :)

I had a service and cambelt change done by Dingles on Mile Cross Lane. They were happy for me to supply my own oil, and also fitted a set of brake pads that I had bought elsewhere.

No problems at all with the job, cost about £350. I had the last service done by Gooch Toyota at Lowestoft only because they were nearer and had also come recommended by another member on here, Darren Blake. They gave really good service but have now been taken over by Dingles as well.

The mechanics at Toyota who do the work have never been trained on the Supra. All the UK cars were sold by Lexus franchises I believe.

I have my car serviced at Toyota to keep the Full Toyota Service History, that is the only reason. Otherwise I would do it myself. If I ever have a problem with my car I would take it to a specialist such as Leon or Chris Wilson as these guys know the car inside out.

I would recommend Dingles for your service as they did a good job on mine. HTH

Where about in thetford are they?

Head to Thetford on the A11 from Norwich

Straight over the 1st roundabout

Left at the 2nd roundabout towards the industrial estate

Follow the road and just after it goes downhill, they are on the left.

You can't miss it, it's a large franchise.

And the A11 is a fantastic bit of road

If anything goes wrong with mine, I fix it myself - I just get them to do the messy tedious stuff :) Plus I keep all the details reports and invoices as a service record.
