Guest 'roberto'
Well, I've just failed the MOT, was worried might fail, but not for what it has! Wiper blades, light output and rear wheel bearing. Light output!?!!! Know the plastic lens's are a touch haze-y so gonna clean them up this weekend and get some all singing and dancing bulbs. Rear wheel bearing concerns me a little, i know paul @ whifbitz can supply them but havent got a clue what i'm gonna pay for fitting? Any one know any decent fitters in south manchester/stoke area? Im from Congleton. Cheers, rob
Dazzi
When my wheel bearing 'supposedly' went, I was all ready to get a new one but found out it was readjustable. The bearings aren't that much anyway but not sure for fitting? An hour tops maybe?

bigbloodyturbo
you can try novus on the lights, its what i used and it worked really well, also it has two grades of paste so you can even remove deeper scores on the lense.
absz
Its the Reflector inside the lamp unit (silver bit) that normally goes dim, hence poor aim pattern on the headlight beam tester some brighter bulbs should do the trick.
Guest 'roberto'
I've got some autosol to do the lenses ages ago, just been putting it off. That with new bulbs will hopefully do it, just hope i can get away with doing the outside of the lenses only, cos cant be arsed baking them! Just the bearing that concerns me, seems not to be a DIY job on axel stands even with a very mechanically handy mate. Which means a garage ...££££
