uk-rich
ok the gear stick has a lift collar, its the thing that collar interacts with to prevent selecting reverse

Homer
No worries Rich. I have a brand new set of the selector/shifter bolts, bushes and o-rings here if you need. Ordered in error, but paid a bloody fortune for them!

Homer
Rich, these are the bits I have If it's any of the others, just say the number and I'll list the parts. I don't have the two halfs of that shaft, but recall them being a stupid price from Toyota.

uk-rich
brill almost there, for your last trick, if you look into the bracket in which the shifter sits, there is a groove , vertical, half round, what goes in there, is it part of the reverse lock out ? cheers
Homer
The only bit I can think you mean is this one? I don't think this is what you mean... 33513-22030 YOKE CONTROL SHAFT, NO.1 But thats the same part as found on the 5spd and that doesn't have a 'lift' colar to get to reverse... Sorry mate, not sure what part you mean, there is no other part listed in the area where the shifter sits in the support bar
