intercooler

Hi everyone im going to be fitting a new intercooler to my supra i was wondering as a result of doing this will i need larger coils for it ? Ive recently had six new ones fitted its its at 1.1bar nothing too mad for now will increased boost affect the coils. thanks for your help appreciate any response cheers.:)

Just make sure if your fitting a Front Mount Intercooler you duct it properly, otherwise it may perform worse than your stock Side mount intercooler....

 

What make intercooler did you buy?

 

How will I know if its ducted properly?

 

One was on mine when I ahd it but it still quite standard aside that...standard exhaust etc

If you look inside the mouth of your bumper (where your FMIC intercooler is) you should not be able to see up behind the bumper.

 

I thought i would make a quick diagram about this....

On reasons to duct an intercooler ... Here we go

Not sure bud its off ebay it doesnt say a make on it ill email the seller and ask.
