Guest jasoneverettbro
Hi Everyone, Wonder if someone can shed some light on this. Last week my air con and heating stoped working, no lights, blower, nothing... I have checked the main fuse under the drivers side which is fine and had a look at the larger fuse unit under the hood. This is a sealed unit so not sure there... The clock has also died and this happened at the same time which leads me to think it is electrical.... any thoughts would be greatly appriciated. Thanks Supra peeps! Jase
Guest Budz86
Maybe the altenator belt mate, but I'm not that technically minded. I think thats the belt that drives all the acessories. Does the car still start ok? Might also be something to do with the battery
Guest jasoneverettbro
Thanks mate, She still works perfectly, starting and roaring! it is literally just the heater/air con and clock. Jase
Guest Budz86
Maybe a short somewhere or like you said, a fuse. Try pulling them all out and replacing them, should enable you to see if one is blown. On my punto, the same fuse 'controlled?' all of these systems

Dave17
I had similar to this when i installed my stereo, heating and aircon both dead, and all the lighting in that area as well, i just pulled all the fuses until i found the one that was dead. adnanshah247
have you put in any new ice in recently? you might have messed with some wiring.....
RobSheffield
Have you removed the dash recently?
Guest jasoneverettbro
Yeah, removed the dash a few times but the heating has worked between dash fits. I think I may have it now as the heating comes to life when you hold down the hour button on the clock.... Now all I need to do is fine that darn dodgy earth!... Thanks everyone for your help. SteveR
Probably isn't a dodgy earth as - I think - most of the controls back there have a +ve and a -ve feed. I'd check you plugged the connectors back in FIRMLY last time you had the dash out.

marc_p
Behind the dash there should be an orange box with 'ABS' on it, check that you plugged the wires back into it as it sounds like the wires for that have been left unplugged, it is usually located on top of the headunit. Guest jasoneverettbro
Cheers, I will try all of the above. Here's to dash stripping at the weekend, I'll probably get it back together and find a new problem.
