CarlT67
I bought some wheels in the intention of refurbing them. I was thinking about polishing the wheels, so I thought the easier and quicker way to do this would be to strip the paint of chemically rather than mechanically sanding as I need all the paint removed and not just keyed. I refurbed a set of mr2 wheels using Nitromorse green stuff in Halfords but this didn't do much of a good job and left a total mess. Can anybody recommend and good stripper and also a place who sells polishing bits for dremels at a good price...?
pete_TT
Your better off acid dipping the wheels to remove the paint. Most powder coating places will be able to do this.

Jim_1979
I used nitromorse (sp) stuff when I done my wheels. It done the job to be honest, got it back to bare metal. Took a bit of work and also the use of a screwdriver flat blade to get it all off. Then rub it all with various grades etc to get it all smooth. Mine look miles better than the old silver oxidised wheels!
