I had to get a new set so i brought a set a rota gtr's off here , then painted the centers white as the silver did not suit the look i was after . adnanshah247 Posted August 23, 2008 Share Posted August 23, 2008 how many coats of paint and lac did you put on??? i did mine the same but my mate was experimenting mixing some gold/platinum flakes in the midnight purple paint and he sprayed it on some metal and the paint looked unreal. i was thinking of doing it to the whole car. I've got a load of blue pearl left from when i did mine last time and i did a test mix and that looked really good so i might make a custom paint up . Better to be different, i rekon painted headlight inners could be a good look, and a clear lens rear light conversion, with hecklers led lights would looks totally unique OOOOO another idea, how about a trd spoiler with a white blade?!?!?!
