Left home at 2.00am got the 3.30 tunnel and just arrived at a little place just outside madrid (well about 100kms), the roads have been so clear the drive through the mountains and tunnels was awesome (beat ya michael) 12 hours continuesly driving except for fueling, peeing, and breakfast which did not take long even with my partner giving it "are we nearly there yet":D a shower, a few beers, and some food is on the menu now, then an early night and up at 5am to do the last leg:D

p.s its bloody hot here:p

i took some great pics of the drive down here, the tunnels through the french and spanish mountains are fantastico:d

cannot upload them at the moment as the bloody all singing all dancing vodafone connect box don,t sing or dance, i have to switch off then on again every 2 mins:rolleyes:

it took 18 hours driving time.

and suprisingly the total spend in fuel and tolls was only £450+ 80 euros for a hotel room
