Removing rear window

I've just been down to my spray shop who are getting my car ready for a respray. They have told me that the company they're using to remove the windows want to charge a fee of £200 to remove the rear window

Does anybody know of a company in the southeast that do this sort of thing?

It, and it's trim, is bonded in, it's a risky business getting one out intact, with the heated screen connections undamaged. The trim is nearly always scrapped, so you have to buy a new trim when refitting it. AFAIK the rear quarter glass trim is only available with a new glass, so removing those entails buying new glass, but i may be wrong, I don't touch bodywork at all.

If that's to remove and refit, with new trim it's not a bad price at all.

I'm not sure to be honest. I've just popped down there and the impression I got was that it was expensive (I guess they use these people a lot) I think what they're worried about is that if the window breaks then it will cost them around £1,500 to replace and import.
