uk-rich
i've set this up no problems, great piece of kit ther are basically 3 things to adjust set = relates to final boost pressure start boost = controls when the gate starts to open gain = boost consistency i was told to set this at 10, so thats what i did ! (the instructions say) "adjusts the sensitivity of the valve control" GAIN so what does this really mean/alter cheers
paul mac
my understanding of gain is the response of the wastegate, you can have the wastegate set "lazy" or "sharp", the start boost controls where the wastegate begins to open but the gain controls how it behaves (ie sluggish or quick), the optimum setting is somewhere inbetween to optimise turbo response but avoid overboost
Nic
my understanding of gain is the response of the wastegate, you can have the wastegate set "lazy" or "sharp", the start boost controls where the wastegate begins to open but the gain controls how it behaves (ie sluggish or quick), the optimum setting is somewhere inbetween to optimise turbo response but avoid overboost A higher gain value will keep the wastegate closed longer and open quicker, this wil noticeably increase the spool up of the turbos, but if the value is too high it will cause the boost to spike (over boost). Set up instructions here in case you don't have them. http://www.greddy.com/img/PHP/products/pdf/682.pdf
