Looked like a good turnout - sorry I missed it but both poorly Supe and poorly me - whichever idiot garage put the cambelt on before I became the lucky owner couldn't even put the cambelt on right - nearly caused the engine to blow (and I've only just put in new rad and crankshaftpully!!!) - Leon (JPS) also discovered they wired up the boost controller and other mods in a very strange manner :( so just wanted to warn anyone else of dodgy garages (looking at receipts from previous owner seems it was Woodstock Service Station in East Grinstead - I'm certainly grateful to Leon who knows his stuff (his own Supe - when the engine is back in! - may well outrun anything else on the road! :eek:

I did post my phone number on that post so that if anyone missed us at Fleet you could find out where we went to. It was a pub just off the Hook junction on the M3 in a village called North Warnborough (??? U what who's ever heard of there????lol) Basically in the opposite direction from Hook (just ask Oxy and crew they had a little look over there).
Hope everyone was happy enough with the choice of pub, I know the parkin was initially a bit mare-ish but I did my best to get people into bluebeckers across the road with my burly parking attendant lol. They incidentally are more than happy to host us again and next time they said they would block off the car park for our arrival.
Fantastic showout with unscheduled motors filling the gaps created by unfortunates that couldn't make it today. Thanks to Millhouse for finalising the leathering of my car (you went to a lot of trouble today fella cheers).
See Y'all in a month sportin me new leather.

Just glad the HKS SSQV and my bodge work held up for the day, hopefully get it sorted in the next couple of days, luvin' the sound though, and its working fine even with the car being an auto :)

Word of warning everyone- never play Trig at NFSU, the guys LETHAL, just rams the opposition off the road LMAO

Agrred on the service station idea totally tops.
Just gotta find a service station near someone that knows the area to find another public establishment close by.
The Miller we were in today said they were happy for us to back but obviously we want to move the venue each time or people will get bored.

Good to see a lot of people there, the convoy back to Rosie's was fairly mad as well, apparently I get blue flames out the exhaust when lifting off in 4th at 6krpm :devil: Some dumbass BMW driver nearly got us killed as well by getting in the middle of two lanes and braking just because I flashed his slowass M3 out of the way. A bit of lane zero overtaking and subsequent humiliation was called for :)

I thought that beemer was a 5 series? M3 eh? Cool, is that the one I burned off the lights in the far right lane from the M3 junc? (that roads my regular work drive so know it too well!) I shot off and waited, looked in my rear view and saw Mr BM and you, him in the middle of both lanes, was thinking twat :D I was only doing about 65 with him storming up behind me coz you'd forced him outta the way :D :D Then you shot past, and him, so I thought game on too, floored the loud pedal after you both, got on boost and keeping up, then by about 120 leps I was charging behind him, followed you in outside lane and sailed past, then tucked back into the inside behind you. :D
So, in other words, not only did you completely own him, but I did too!!!!!! :D He must be gutted! LMAO!

Excellent first meet, had a great time cheers. Sorry I had to duck on off out of the pub a bit early, sounds like it went on fairly late.
Anyway have to tell you about the tussle I had on the M3 (nickname for my private test track) on the way home.
It's reasonably heavy traffic and I'm in the middle lane going past a slip road onto the motorway to let some cars on, minding my own business doing about 75-80 ish, when I guess from the slip road (didn't see) an escort cossie with 3 lads (baseball caps, burberry jumpers you know the type) came flying onto the motorway and blasts past me into the outside lane. Don't know if the car was modded much, but was reasonably quick and definitely had non-stock exhaust. Game on I thought, and gave it a bit to draw level. All of the lads were breaking there necks to see what I was doing, so I gave them a quick nod and proceeded to undertake them, and move into lane 1 to undertake a some other middle lane loving cars. The cossie, sees me go for it and follows suite, and the chase ensues. I gun it real hard and he's not far off my back, I red line it in 5th and go for 6th, by this point there is a lot of traffic and a serious amount of undertaking going on. I looked back to see the cossie dropping back a bit, I'm still foot to the floor and accelerating. I look up the road to see three lanes solid, and I'm going a ridiculous speed, so actually had to take avoidance undertaking action on the hard shoulder. I past the lorry on the inside which wasn't happy (flashing lights sounding horn) and pull back into lane 1 to calm down. I look behind no cossie. A minute or two later the cossie cruised alongside after getting past the traffic. A nod of acknowledgement from the lads and that was it.
I pootled the rest of the way home doing 70.
Anyway like I said great meet, like to do it again some time.

Ah looks like my little spot of local muppet baiting was mild in comparison to you lot LOL (and I am usually the most dangerous)
That muppet that kept cruising through the front car park in a green renault (19 I think) came barreling around that corner towards the pub at nearly 50 so I blatantly pulled out oh him with as much spin as I could get and left him doing 50 in a thick tyre smoke fog lol. He then proceeded to try and keep up with me on the dual carriageway to the motorway but despite my inadequate N/A proportions I wasted him and vanished into the blue yonder. It must really hack people off when you do that to them.

actually was a 1.6i, with uprated cam, filter, injection unit, plugs, fuel pump, exhaust :p

thanks luv...cory is a great kid (of course i would say that) funnily enough i had a really good time...normally i tag along with mark and look like im bored out of my brains but i honestly had a great time being sat in a pub rather than a carpark meant i could sit down and talk to/meet people and everyone was great. got to meet a few more girlies to which is always nice.....still upset im not in the voting with the girls for attractive something or other though:cry:
