Black wheels or not??

Just recently DIY refurbed my wheels. 19" Axis Milanos.

The car is manky and needs a good clean/polish. This weather doesn't help!

Not 100% convinced on the black on black look. I know Jamie likes black wheels.

Should I keep them black? Or something else

If not, other suggestions welcome, preferably other pics of black cars, or photoshops? All the hard work's been done, so doing a different colour's not such a big deal now.

The car does need lowered (got springs sitting here), so I think it should look alot better when on its bum a little more?

Exactly.. once it's on its bum. Then with a TRD spoiler, some skirts and spats, I think it'll look the tits! lol.

I would prefer polished lip myself, but it's not something I can be bothered doing!

Ive just put a set of Rota D1's on. Black with polished dish and stailess stell studs around the split rim. Look awsome. I'll be putting pics up when its lowered and has its new front and seats done. So yes go for it black on black is very cool:)

black wheels on black cars look good - nothing better than a all black car in peoples rear view mirror before they fly past. All balck cars look evil slammmed and driven fast.

Well, I've done the two wheels, other two still to be done. I just can't get started due to the weather!

It looks good. Put some nice skirts on it, some oem spats and drop it 20mm and you have yourself a corker IMO:)

Personally i think it looks drab, you could just about get away with a polished lip, but i think black cars need some contrast.

Trig's car looks stunning!!-but that little lip I think does the difference..IMO, obviously..it's ur car.. U know..

Without the lip...maybe a bit....erm..flat?? I might b wrong...

You go crazy and spray the entire dish red (or any contrasting colour) paint your calipers red and keep the spokes black IYKWIM, could look cr*p could look cool.. Just a thought lol
