JamesC
Anyone had any experience with these very cheap speedo converters/de-limiters? I've heard people having problems with stuff like this before: Cheap speedo thingy YPCYPT?

jamesmark
With some cheap de limiters they do de limit the car however they trick the ECU too much by not turning off the power steering iirc should happen at 50mph. So you will extremely light steering at all speeds which is very dangerous.

A local chap bought one off ebay, I nearly sh*t myself when I took it for a drive as the power steering was working full time at 70mph. He did say it felt 'a bit funny' on the motorway
