What did it cost you in time & materials?

 

It took about 30 hours all together I guess, and 3 sets of lights to practice on, purley because I had no guide, and was making it up as I went along.. I made them, and took them apart again 3 or 4, or 5 times lol.. Used various materials to bond, discovering which one's left vapour marks on the lenses etc, and made very good use of my dremmel.

I guess I could make a set now in 6 hours.

They actually look much better in the flesh than in the pics.

 

Materials = Set of used rear lights £30

Hella LED rings £150 (used)

Clear indicator lense taken from reversing lense £0.00

Clear silicone £4.00
