ped87 Posted August 6, 2008 Share Posted August 6, 2008 hope this is in the right section got a guy from france wants to buy my supra he is coming to birmingham on the 22 of aug he wants me to drive the car up there but wont give me a deposit he also wants to know "I need the number of plates, the comercial apelation of the car and the power (not hp but the one which is on the paper of the car.)" does anyone know what he means by this? baz Posted August 6, 2008 Share Posted August 6, 2008 i recently sold my car to a french fella. gave me a 500 deposit and travelled to wales, flight and train journey. i think he will find that he wont be able to reg the car in france due to it being an import. the guy i sold mine to said that they were only allowed to import uk car. i dont know if this is correct tho. i wouldnt go anywhere with out a large non refundable deposit. hope this helps Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
