hi guys,

just a quick one, was thinkin of putting a tv screen in me supra but i dont want to put a flip up screen in the orginal DIN slot because it tends to cover the buttons for the air con / heating etc...

Any else here have an idea, i.e i was thinking puting a screen on the actual dash itself? Any1 done this? or even a fold down screen on the roof?

hmm any pics or advice appreciated.

Regards

Why not just put it in the lower of the 2 DIN slots and then it won't cover up as much.

I suppose you could put a drop down one into the headliner, have a look on MKIV.com (I think this is where I saw it) as someone put their Apexi controllers in the roof. If you do that though be careful as a headliner is a complete PITA to cut neatly and accurately.

Or you could get a full size fixed screen and use both dins...that was my original plan...

Plenty of other places for gauges etc.

I have an alpine fold up screen in the lower DIN slot. it only covers up the bottom buttons but at the end of the day if you want to get to the air con etc, all u have to do is press one button! not a big deal! can take pics if need be.

i done the dash myself...like everything else on my car

my motto is ...if u cant doit yourself , dont do it at all

all i used is p38 and p40
