Disabling the airbag

I've tried searching but no luck.

How do I disable the airbag in the wheel? I'm about to change the ugly stock supra wheel with a Rav4 wheel (looks very much like the TRD, and got it cheap from a salvage yard), but that is without airbag. I can either purhcase and expensive airbag or just get a cover without airbag. If so, how would I disable the airbag light in the dash that I'm expectling to light up?

Any other ideas except for removing the bulp? Or is that just the easiest? I thought something about a resistance placed where the airbag plugs in.

Safety or style i know what id choose........a RAV4 wheel is so not worthy!

I havent decided what to do yet. there is something like 160£ in difference.

Also designt depends of the year. What do you think of this:

Taking the bulb out is a 5 second job so it is the easiest. It is not required for anything else other than to display a fault. So if airbag is not there then there is always going to be a fault, so remove the bulb. Then if you put the airbag back on at any time then it is any easy job to replace the bulb. Or but not sure the Airbag ECU ~(not 100% sure)

The picture looks very nice

If I don't sell this airbag + 3-spoke wheel + airbag Supra adapter harness, I'll sell you the airbag & adapter for £90.. should fit your wheel.

I have an interested party in the whole setup though, but I haven't managed to get photos to him yet..

Then you got the nice one. Take a look at my old one. I got the one that fell of a Toyota truck from the 80'ies:

I agree. You might be interested in my thread from a few weeks ago.

What does the RAV4 wheel look like?
