"Chrome" Supra on Pistonheads

The owner used to be on here, I remember seeing it in the flesh at TOTB a few years ago and it looked "OK", bit too bling for me but not a bad effort, especially for a show car, the cover over the fuel tank looked a bit naff though.

Well there was one rather similar made with real silver.

No there wasn't.

There is an internet hoax / crap email that says this is the case but it's just a demo car from MTM, polished aluminium body and chrome effect paint on the plastics.

Made for an Arab Oil Sheikh and he apparently has a platinum and gold one too.

Hoax or not i dont know, but dont care either way.

You should care, it's important.

The Ferrari is another example of polished aluminium and fancy chrome effect coatings, I suspect the gold and platinum ones don't exist.

Not that POS again! It was painted one of those multi-coloured purple pearl paints last time I saw it. It looked shit then and nothing has changed. The owner is/was a member here.

It was up for £14k a very long whole ago, but it's still to much, even for a project car.
