Just would like to get a few ideas of how many people would like to join me for a day at the race shack for a fun dyno day.

I will update this post frequently with names -

1. jimsupra

2.

3.

etc

We can only have a maximum of 10 people to make a full day and keep the price low. Its £750 for the day or £75 each car. Each car will be on the dyno for about 45- 50 mins.

It may seem alot of £ compared to other dyno days you see but this is not just a power run. please read on.

My friend is now the new co-owner of the http://www.raceshack.co.uk/ (last couple of months)

They have a 1st class mustang dyno that not only does the usual but can also let you do quarter mile runs and 0-60 sprints.

So all the fun of going on the strip but without the thought of crashing.

They will set up the traffic lights at the end of the dyno to simulate everything from reaction times, 0-100m's etc.

They have a big scoreboard all the names on to and you get points for various things so it does not matter if you dont have the highest BHP of the day as you can still win the prize for good 0-60mph/torque/1/4 mile/reaction time etc etc.

The 1/4 mile is pretty acurate and each time ben has run a car on the dyno its always only been about 0.1 second out on the day so not bad.

I will arrange a bbq if the weather is good.

I did go there last weekend and ran my car and another members car and enjoyed it alot.

I managed 13.44 1/4 mile for my 1st ever attempt :eyebrows: but closely followed by bens split screen vw camper coming in at just over 14 seconds .

So names on a list and feel free to ask any questions on here or via pm.

Might be worth pimping in the 'Midlands' section as well, Tewkesbury is about 15 mins from me. Are spectators welcome?? :)

Let me know if I can help in any way.

Yeah anyone can come along and have a look, chat and a bit of food.

Ben and jim used to go with their vw camper club for dyno days and loves a good shoot out (no pun intended )like we do.

I'm interested but depends on the date. I would only really want to do a power run though....I think.

We need someone who's been on the SRR to come along as well for a comparison.

Its not for power runs only, but maybe if you came along and there is time they may squeeze you on. The dates wont be set until i have at least 5 definate cars wanting to go.
