Hi,

I'm thinking about an install for my car.

At the moment I have a 100w bass tube. I'm not that impressed with it as it's not powefull enough for the size of the car, so I'm going to sell it and get a couple of proper subs I think!

Does anyone know the max size of a sub(s) that will fit in the boot?

I was thinking of two subs with an amp. My head unit has two outputs for subs (left and right).

Has anyone got sizes of boxes that will fit OK. One each side of the boot would be OK.

I could do with knowing the size of the speakers in the front doors too.

Cheers,

Paul.

You can get pretty much whatever size sub you want in the boot, just depends on how much boot space you want to lose.

As for the front speakers, you can stick with the stock acoustic boxes and go for small 10cm speakers (I did this and it sounds ok), or you can go larger and then fix them to the door cards and cut the original speaker grill out.

Talk to Mr Nice Harwood, and he will give you all possible possibilities.

I've got a 12" Sub in mine running on a Genesis Amp. Sounds amazing, nearly busts the boot open when it's up loud.......
It's in a 1 cubic foot box so you could easily get two in if you wanted two in there.
Got to consider weight though... As they are heavy. Will slow you down.
