Was to replace all the coilpack clips!! Was easy as pie also, no need for the already excellent guide. Anybody could do this and it only took me 10mins max.

 

I've not taken the car for a good run yet, but straight away I noticed it was much more responsive!!

 

So if you have missfire/hesitation problems, do your plugs, then the clips! :)

About £5-6 each from Toyota, Paul Whiffin keeps them in stock and although a couple of quid more overall he'll be able to get them to you sooner than Toyota

 

Paul is cheaper. £3.50 each iirc. although he is out of stock, im waiting for a set on bac order.

I changed one on Burnas car the other day. Personally I found it a bit of a fiddly job (big fingers) and unless you've actually got issues can't see the point in changing them.

 

Changed one? Why only one?

 

It's an easy job if you use a little flat blade blade screwdriver! Some pins were a twat to get out the old clips, but nothing major.
