Hi

First post on the site. Hello everyone. Just got a couple of Q's about the Supra, hope somebody can clear these up.

First of all, what group insurance is the Supra, is it 20, due to it being an import? Are there any threads knocking about where people have listed there insurance premiums?

Second, would the Supra be drivable as an everyday car? What's the reliability like? I would be looking into a n/a Supra because of my age, but I still need it to be reliable because I'm no mechanic lol. I know it'd be a ~10 year old car, but is there anything that Supras are known for?

I think that's it for now, I had more Q's in my head but that's all I can't think of now.

Cheerio

I've had my supra na 3 year's now and must say it's one of the most reliable car's i've had, has said make sure it's been well looked after ie: service history and should be ok !

if buying one, especially look at the suspension being a 14 yr old car, some thing's are going to wear and vague steering/tramlining is common, depends on what size wheels you are on aswell (17's /18's ok)

insurance wise, look at A-plan/sky insurance & greenlight (i think) they're about the cheapest around !

GOOD LUCK ! ;)

How old are you? A lot of younger members are having issues getting insurance these days. Also, insurance for an import TT seems to be about the same as for an NA, as are running costs (unless you plan on driving a TT everywhere with the second turbo in full flow :eyebrows:)

A Supra is also easily useable as an everyday car, and being Toyota they're pretty reliable as a general rule.

Welcome to the club and good luck in your search :)
