View Full Version : Good Flight/Holiday websites
Looking to go back to Tenerife for New Year, any sites recommended, hoping to cut out the middleman as prices seem dearer than for self catering than what they were 5star our summer
I could go booking our own flights route, but a package would be good
www.kayak.co.uk are ment to be good as ive been told, but havnt looked myself tho tbh.

That site is cack. I just booked a flight for my son to go back from Kos to cardiff for 130 euro and Kayak suggested flights at £900!!!
Go to airflights.co.uk
The usual suspects are quite good.
Expedia
lastminute.com
You mention packages, i would go looking in the local travel agents too, they quite often have signs outside or in the window or just pop in for a chat with them.
If it was me though i would be doing it all seperate - flight via the airline then the hotels via their own websites.
It can be quite a bit cheaper if you pay for the hotels in advance as far as possible.
as an example I saved myself over £500 by paying for my hire car 4 months ahead of time !
I use trip advisor.com to check out potential hotels and attractions as the people who review them have stayed in these places (or visited them) and are not biased towards them.
I found http://www.flightline.co.uk/ ok when I needed a cheap flight to Spain last new years.

Airflights and Kayak are different beasts, tbh. Airflights specialises in charter flights, whereas Kayak does scheduled flights.
try airline-network.com whichwill give you good flight prices - then give Sara Cormack at barrhead travel a ring and she will see you alright mate
Cheers guys some good avenues here!
