Last year the purolator filters were £4.79, now they are £7.19 including member's discount which seems excessive for a filter. How much are stock Mr. T ones and should I just go for those? One of the things I work with are the filters for fighter aircraft with the breathing masks and life support equipment etc - now they are filters!!!! Just cut two filters in half the difference is easy to see. The stock size or the Lexus V8 one are good filters. Why take the risk for the sake of a few quid. You can get a lot of cheap parts for the MKIV, but quality control will not be as good, lettting the odd rouge on to the market. You get what you pay for.
