standard toyota roughly £8-£9, you can also go for the lexus version which is slightly larger, and yes OEM would be a better choice for the sake of a £1

Ahh but don't forget, like oil some are better than others;):p

but I'm with you on this:) dons flack jacket:p

notice i made no mention of the word s**b:p

Yep agree, but this is an oil filter for a car, I'm sure the OEM is no different to a copy? One of the things I work with are the filters for fighter aircraft with the breathing masks and life support equipment etc - now they are filters!!!!

Stock filters have been shown to be made of superior materials when compared to motor factors filters. Just cut two filters in half the difference is easy to see. The stock size or the Lexus V8 one are good filters. Why take the risk for the sake of a few quid.

You can get a lot of cheap parts for the MKIV, but quality control will not be as good, lettting the odd rouge on to the market. You get what you pay for. Chris Wilson used to service a UK car with 0ver 300,000 miles on it. I suspect the owner used stock parts.
