Spraying onto FMIC

Hey guys,

has anyone thought bout spraying on logos or whatever onto their FMIC..could be kinda chavvy given, but ive noticed that a few compnays like Blitz do come with a front logo- mine however didnt and was thinking either doin it or being rock and roll sprayin a full on Skull and cross bones on their however bit worried bout the cooling properites being effected? anyone done this or got any ideas on this. perphaps on which paint you could used . and more to the point wether i should just leave it the hell alone.

Or people who like to keep their intercooler in good condition

I've seen skull and cross bones on a FMIC before and it looks...well crap

same goes for logos(leave it alone - fly a flag out the window with your desired logo if you want folks attention:search:)

There is good quality mesh available, and it can make for a very clean look, if your FMIC is not framed by the bumper aperture.

OMG you're right, case closed

See i don't think it looks that great but i think the main reason for that is its not bodycolour.

I think the "Supra" logo in body colour would look ok.

From my personal opinion i think they are best left clear.

I had the bumper on while i mounted the intercooler, i mounted it so it was right up against the hole in the bumper and in the middle. I then removed the bumper, fitted all the IC pipes and re-fitted the bumper before sealing the edge around the mouth of the bumper so it was air-tight ensuring all air went throught the IC not around it.

Nice I'm having my bumper refitted due to an accident so I'll be re-mounting the intercooler at the same time.

Can't say my M-Spec came with a spray template, but thats probably because its the smallest in the range!

I can't say that spraying anything on to an FMIC would enhance its looks.
