It's in a box that comes packed and you just put it in the microwave.

My mum scared me a bit the other day by telling me that rice, however it's cooked, and then cooled down and left is the biggest spreader of food poisoning.

There is a packet of rice in the box that's kind of vacuum packed.

My question is...would you eat it?

Why on earth would rice be any worse for food poisoning than anything else? If the food's piping hot when served, it'll be fine.

We all have to die sometime..... even if it is death by boiled rice :d

You should see some of the things I've eaten in the past. Some of it approaching roadkill when I did a bushcraft weekend LOL

Just make sure you really blast it (yes that is the technical term :p) in the microwave and you will be ok Charlotte :)

Exactly, half the reason people get so ill with colds and all that is they spend their lives making sure everything is clinically clean and the body never builds up a resistance.

So you get the runs for a few days, you either don't do it again or your body adjusts... :)

Besides, the basic bloke food groups such as pizza, indian and chinese are even better the following day after being nuked for a few minutes.

That's nothing. Did you realise that underwear accumulates 2 million types of bacteria which grows on your privates every day?

Stop wearing underwear!

Also that an average door knob has traces of 45 peoples faeces on it. Don't open doors!

The air you're breathing has been breathed by an average of 115 people and contains traces of yellow fever, the bubonic plague and two dozen bacterial nasties.

I remember eating one of those microwave curries with rice for breakfast at 6am once.

Damn good for breakfast :-)

I'd eat it, but then again I have a goat-like digestion system and once ate two gammon steaks raw as a teenager thinking they were ham.... no problems :-)

Also ate a phone sim card once but didn't really want to check if I fully digested that.

I was thinking of non-egg solutions initially but it's possible to extract the contents of the egg without breaking it, blown eggs, a syringe etc

Vegan types can still have omlettes with their odd alternatives.

That reminds me of an interesting "fact" about Superglue - _apparently_ it was developed for use in the Vietnam war to repair soldiers by sticking wounds together - why do you think it sticks your fingers together better than whatever you were actually trying to glue?

Thats completely true. Of course its totally different from the glue now, the stuff then literally wouldn't come apart without taking lots of skin.

Chicken, rice and petri dish's are great at breeding nasties.

Rule of thumb. You can reheat all foods twice if zapped in the microwave.

Its a bad idea to reheat take-aways as you dont always know how many times it was cooked before.
You could already be eating last nights left overs.

Numerous curries from local curry house rice+chicken+sauce left on side for an evening then put in fridge, eaten 3 days later.
