ivan
Spent the day at Charlie's place yesterday so that his pal Terry could do some work on my Supra in the relative luxury of his huuge garage. We (mostly they) managed to get the timing belt changed and all 4 springs swapped back to stock in about 6 hours. The job could easily have taken a lot longer but we found the crankshaft bolt a doddle to undo. Because it was only spanner-tight and looked like it hadn't been torqued up from the last belt change 5 years ago. I've just got to let the suspension get settled in before I get a geo realignment done and change the front tyres (inside edges worn down). Thanks again guys - and if Terry ever decides to start servicing Supras, I'm in line as a future customer.
b_have
Glad it all went so smoothly Ken, yes, Terry is a very knowledgable technician and he knows his Supras very well. Always happy to work on local Supes, but tends to be booked up a few weeks ahead.
