ballsdeep
had a slight accident on the m56 busting my bumper and bonnet.. nothing serious but my fibreglass bonnet is slightly high on the drivers side, what i wanted to know was.. is there a way of bending and re-shaping it slightly????? JustGav
Fibreglass doesn't usually bend to be fair, it usually cracks. Got any pics? Have you checked it is not sitting high because of the bumper at the front or something like that.
ballsdeep
didnt think so.. i have fitted another bumper and spent hours trying to adjust it closer but its still raised slightly on the corner near the drivers headlight!! might try and re position the bonnet.... cheers anyway
TurboBrett
maybe the car is bent and the bonnet is straight;) if its not very noticeable and still fits and closes ok, i would leave it a week or 2 and the heat cycles sould relax it, i had a fibreglass front end in storage for over 2 years, realy bent out of shape when i came to use it and i just 'streached' it and the heat sorted the rest, not promising though
