bobapple
Hello gents just changed my damaged front bumper, crash bar and top reinforcement bar all gone good the new OEM bumper is in situ' and looking lovely. But heres my trouble cant get the old indicators off I try to undo the nut that attaches them to the bumper and then nut and thread just spin. Anyone had this trouble and found solution?. Tried gripping with pliers and all basic things like swearing and getting angry lol but none worked. They are pre face lifts any ideas welcome cheers. RobSheffield
One of the 2 or 3 bolts? They are threaded into the light unit, so if its truly spinning, let it carry on and come out
bobapple
All bloomin' 3 mate just keep spinning , do you mean there's not a bolt on the other side holding the thread in place cheers rob.
RobSheffield
Im confused by what you mean mate! Dont suppose we can have pictures?
Rayman
I think the screw that connects to the actual indicator is spinning around so he cant undo the bolt. They shouldnt spin, sounds like you might have to break the indicators.
bobapple
My cameras not very good mate doubt you would be able to tell what it is lol. Basically there are 3 threads which Iam guessing built into the front bumper indicator housing, there are 2 on the back and one on the top. The bolts which attach it to the bumper aren't undoing just turning the thread with it every time I try to undo them.

RobSheffield
OK. The 3 bolts actually screw into the housings, if the nuts are locked onto the bolts then they might spin but its either going to be tearing out of the screw hole or unscrewing! Rayman
Try to get the screw out of the indicator if you can that way you could glue them back in. Its all very fiddly tho isnt it.
bobapple
Fiddly would be the polite way of putting it lol. Would of liked to get the clear indicators but I am crap with a soldering iron lol.
