Big thankyou

Just thought i'd thank the forum on a whole for helping me with a problem. A friend of mine bought my old uk spec from me, and we've been doing some work on it recently including changing the radiator, heater matrix and sorting out a boost issue.

The second turbo wasn't coming on until 5K+ rpm.

With some use of the search button on the forum, I tracked the problem back to the exhaust gas recirc. system, on which I found a split hose.

The car is now running perfectly, heater matrix and rad are in and the cars supplying that big grin you get at 4K rpm on a bpu+ car

Good of you to post back what the problem was. That's one of my pet peeves on the tech forum is when people look for advice and post a fairly loose description of the problem, then get some very helpful answers from members which take a long time to write up and post and then don't even have the common courtesy to post back saying thanks or to say if it helped solve the problem.

It's just good manners as people have gone out there way to help. I know if it wasn't for that search button and the knowledgeable people on here then I wouldn't have as good a car as I have got at the moment and I'd certainly have a few less pounds in the bank account.
