View Full Version : Mock the Week: New series
On BBC 2 right now, or if you are reading this after 21:30 then you have missed it.
I was nearly in tears when the line "I realised that there is nothing I wont wank over from the internet" when talking about Saddams hanging. :rlol:

Aye! I nearly choked. That was so funny. I love how he says the unsayable.
Have you seen his MTW Richard Hammond bit and Princess Di memorial concert?

I probably have but it has escaped me.
Was talking about MTW to Sarah last week when I seen it on the listings. How good would a show similar to the format Baddiel and Skinner had when they just sat on a sofa, however starring Hugh Dennis, Frankie Doyle and Andy Parsons.
You'd need Dara though. He was really funny. In fact, incredibly funny when we saw him live in Leeds a few months back.

Marcus Bridgstocke per chance? :)

I am not a fan of Dara off MTW, he is excellent on the show but seen 2 shows on Paramount with him doing gigs and I had to turn it off.

Jolly good show, but that girl seemed out of her depth IMO
Just watched last week episode, how funny was it last week.
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? :rlol:
"What's that Joker? You'll be back? I don't think so" :d

I found the 9/11 joke beyond the pale, as did most of the audience by the reaction.
Otherwise I absolutely love the show, along with TG it's one of my favourite shows. Luckily like TG, Dave play it 24/7.
I thought the marbles up the bum turns you into a wizard was hysterical and last week when he commented on the papers during the stand up was bang on and incredibly funny, though maybe it appeals because as I work in the industry.
I know this is slightly off topic, but I spotted Sean Locke (of QI etc fame) last night while shopping at Asda here in Eastbourne.
He's a funny guy IMO (when he's on the telly anyway). ;)

On reflection mate, I agree. As M said earlier the thing I like about Frankie Doyle is he says the unsayable. I remember thinking about how many complaints is the BBC going to get on that one.
I don't think they receive any?
It's laughable how many TG gets in comparison.

It attracts idiots harping on about the environment though...
