jevansio
I've just bought a 4" Samco hose to go from the compressor to airfilter. My question is could the hose deform when the turbo is sucking (ie I'm not just using it to couple two pipes, I'm using it as a pipe itself), or should I really use a hardpipe? Wez
Hmmmm, not sure. I managed to fold up a pipercross filter which had a metal lining
jevansio
Hmmmm, not sure. I managed to fold up a pipercross filter which had a metal lining I guess I could watch it on the dyno, I just know how hot it gets under there & that hose sure goes floppy when hot. Maybe a metal sleeve inside would be the answer, I just don't want to use a 45deg elbow then a straight metal pipe as that would mean 4 jubillie clips in total (very messy )
tooquicktostop
If you need your pipe back let me know, it would not fit around the HKS intercooling pipes
