What clutch?

Ive ordered the rest of my kit and the clutch is the last thing to sort now, (oh and getting a car:d)

Will be for a 550/600 bhp street car? Ryan recommended the southbend that homer had, anyone else running that clutch?

Also the RPS street max seems ok, all be it a little heavy some say?

I want something thats easy to use, any suggestions?

Ive got a centreforce dual friction, feels like stock pedal wise, allthough rattles the prop abit in reverse.

Yea chiefgrover had that and recommended it, where did you get it?

I've got the RPS and I love it. It's stood up to everything I've chucked at it so far (including a bit of drifting with R888s )

Mine (Ryan's old car) has a Southbend clutch in it, and coming from a MR2 Turbo which had the standard clutch, I can't notice much difference

Does that one use the stock flywheel?

yes it does, i have one, but no probs with reverse

Did you replace your flywheel when the clutch was fitted, i didn`t.

I have an RPS street max clutch and RPS lightened flywheel. Pedal pressure is harder than stock ... but very nice and drivable.

brand new toyota flywheel, really didn't want the noise of a aftermaket one

I wouldnt mind trying the feel of your clutch Si; it sounds like the way to go for me when we're back from the 'Ring. I'll keep babying the current one till then!

IME, the RPS street max was too heavy, but seemed to do the job. The southbend was ideal, only 20% heavier pressure than stock, but drove like stock, very, very managable and lovely in traffic. The car always sufferered from a low bite point though, which was never resolved. CW said it might have something to do with the reground pressure plates SB use.

RPS Street with 6 puk, the pedal feel is very similar to stock, but due to puk clutch plate it is on off, I would say for a daily driver the RPS street with organic clutch plate would be good for about 550hp, anything more and you would have to go the RPS Max plate and above

Think im gonna get a the rps street max because they seem up to the job and its easy to order from Kyle.

Jamie have you considered the carbonetic twin plate carbon clutch? SF are very impressed with it!
