facelift lights on my supra - yes/no

Lads im thinking of changing my glass uk spec front headlights

to a set of black facelift lights.

anyone got any input on whether i should or not ?

Here is a pic of my supra . Would it suit the car more with the

black headlights or what ?

I would split the lights you have and spray in insides black. They look excellent and you get the benefit of the glass lenses. If you don't want to do it yourself I think there's a couple of traders on here that will do it.

IMHO it will look much better for it. (although your car looks pretty stunning as it is!)

Quite like yours as is, if i were to change,i would split them & spray them as j_jza80 said, you can send them off or do it yourself, i did it on mine, its not hard.

Splitting them and painting, no, even the pro's have condensation problems, dont ruin some nice UK lights, sell them on for decent cash and get some facelifts

Get some Facelifts, would look good as long as they don't yellow and get full of condensation (or both) did a quick photoshop to see what it'd look like...

You reallly can't tell that much difference from the front. close up they look a lot different though... as you can see by my pic bellow (my lights are refurbished J-Specs)

Actually Shane, you could facelift them, then someone on here does those clear perspex type fronts, they look better than glass IMO.

I'd leave them as is.

I've had no end of trouble with my re-furbs... the drivers side light has gone completely yellow and both are constantly full of moisture...

Just something to bare in mind...

My refurbs have been fine apart from when i have jet washed them, which i dont anymore, you refurbs are the plastic ones right.

I wonder how many people have major sealing issues.

had a sealing issue myself witha brand new headlight, bit of silicone went in where problem was and hasnt been an ounce of moisture since.

I've done a few of these now, and only thae 1st set let condensation in. It's not too difficult.

Be flash, buy a set of facelifts and switch the insterts over with the glass ones.

I split my headlights around 3 times all in doing my angel eyes and i don't have any condensation issues.

will have a think about it, will get some more pics photoshopped and then decide
