My odometer isn't working. it's showing a fixed milage and not changing (and no, it's not because the car is parked :p )

everything else is working, apart from the ABS warning. (I know
the abs isn't working but the light is not on)

what could that be?

can I please have it?? Would love a fixed mileage car :) lol

Perhaps a flux capacitor will assist it going backwards? Then I'd definately be interested.

Seriously though... i have no idea on the problem. But I would suspect it'd be a sensor somewhere on a wheel?

It sounds very much like the wire that is used to feed the odo (also sometimes spliced for the speedo convertor) has been cut. Should be an easy fix.

If your speedo is working then it isn't the speed sensor...

If its not what JustGav suggests, could it possibly be a 'dry solder' issue on the odometer?

Also, I was under the impression that if the No.1 speed sensor was faulty the odometer would not increment?

check to see if the blue with red stripe wire is connected and the back of the connector plug and not cut/damaged, its next to the pink wire i belive.
