main bearing advise

I may have to be replacing my main bearings at the very least on my mr2,:(

what do i need to know to get the right ones?

im 70% sure i have a phoenix power 2.2 stroker kit, if not then hks

do i need specific custom made ones, or does anyone know where to get specific/specialist main bearings from? (or need to ask phoenix power to supply) i take it they wont be off the shelf

Dam, id use toyota shells, if its spun a bearing id change the rod aswell, who are you planning on getting to do the rebuild?

will standard ones fit on an aftermarket crank, rods?

im not sure on damage yet, i hope its just main bearing change

yes toyota ones will fit but its not a case of just bunging a set in, whats the symptons? knocking engine?

dont think so,

it was more of a case of loosing all the engine oil on the m25 friday

where is the oil coming from and what makes you think the bearings are shot?
