engine warning light

since my active spoiler has been removed the engine warning light is on and the active spoiler button light keeps flashing, any way i can short some thing out to complete the circuit to make it think its stil connected?!

I think you just need to unplug the active spoiler ECU, which is behind the stereo.

Not 100% sure though and can't be arsed to search for the answer. I'm pretty sure you'd find the answer with a quick search though.

my active spoiler light is the same, still flashes but nothin like eng warning lights showing

As mentioned, unplug the AS ECU behind your head unit.

i bridged the connector in the plug by the headlight ,seems to work ok couldnt be bothered to take the dash apart again

Or just press the spoiler button so it is off.

how did u bridge it? its easier to do that then take dash apart?

Sorry L33, I mistook Shane's reply (post #3) as a reply from you - no wonder I was confused. Sorry.

Anyway, why don't you whip off the dash panels and unplug the Active Spoiler ECU? Only takes 10 mins if you've ever done it before.

and the auto spoiler button is pressed
