National are bloody useless take it to an independent tyre place and they'll get it sorted in 10 minutes.

To be honest unless you're using the wrong sized socket you'd struggle to round the head. Get down to halfords and get one of these: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_210623_langId_-1_categoryId_31341

You will most likely find it was an apprentice at one of those garages that tightened them up the lazy arse way with an impact gun.

I almost took some young kids head off at a gargage for doing it. When the mechanic came out he asked what the problem was, i handed him my tyre iron and asked him how he would get the wheel off if it had a puncture.

Needless to say... red faced mechanic. I hate bloody spanner monkeys, what happened to good old fashioned car engineers who take care of things instead of bash them in a hurry.
