c7hru
Right, i have had my n/a for just over a year now and think i am in need of some more power and also want to go back to having a manual car (although my auto has helped me massively over the past 5 months as i ruptured my ligaments in my left knee but could still drive the car!). I have used the 'search button' and looked at tt's for sale on the net and cant really make my mind up?! I love my car and ideally i would just stick a tt lump into it and have a 5 or 6 speed conversion done. Is it worth it or is it better to just sell up and buy a tt? Does anyone know where i can look for reasonably priced manual tt's? As like most people money isn't on tap for me so i would be looking for the most effective and cost effective solution thanks for your help!! miko_supra
most cost effective is always going to be sell and buy a TT. But depends on how much you like your car
JustGav
most cost effective is always going to be sell and buy a TT. But depends on how much you like your car Exactly... If you like the way your car looks and you are happy with everything other than drivetrain, then yes perhaps the £3k investment is worth it. If however you are happy to start with a 'new piece' of canvas then a TT is the way forward.
JamieP
Id sell up and buy a tt, for me a na-tt conversion will never be worth as much as the real thing and even they aint worth much these days so its a no brainer for me.

twijesiri
I had the same problem, but after months of looking it was easyer for me to do NA to TT conversion done through Jezz than find a good TT manual, especialy after the money i had put in to the NA already. This was not the cheapest option but the one that worked out best as i now have a 380 + TT with full retrim and wheels, bodykit i like and its a manual!
